Events Kronplatz (Plan de Corones)

The Speck & Wine Emotion at Kronplatz is the perfect opportunity to combine the skiing experience at 2,275 meters and the South Tyrolean world of delicacies. Together with educated South Tyrolean gourmet ambassadors you have the opportunity to taste South Tyrolean Speck combined with South Tyrolean wines. Renowned wineries will present their finest wines and the South Tyrolean Speck PGI will add culinary highlights. A ski instructor from the Ski School CIMA will accompany you on perfectly groomed slopes to three selected huts.

Period: available in German and Italian language from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. every Wednesday between January 17 and March 27, 2024 (on January 31st the event will NOT take place)

Meeting point: Meet at Concordia peace bell at the top of Mount Kronplatz.

This year Kronplatz has again the honor of being the venue for a women's giant slalom: On January 21, 2025, the Ski World Cup on the Erta slope goes into the next round! The world's best female ski racers will show their skills on the challenging Erta and give everything to grab the hard-fought Kronplatz crown. The Erta slope is quite impressive - with a length of 1,325 m, a difference in altitude of 405 m and a maximum gradient of 61%, it demands the utmost skill and a large portion of courage from the participants.
